Ana Devlin Gauthier (she/hers) is a facilitator, community-builder and connector with a deep love for the Amherst community.

A graduate of Amherst public schools, Ana has been deeply impacted by our community. She returned to live in Amherst in 2017. Driven by a strong belief in the value of civic engagement and building within one's community led her to serve on the Dog Park Task Force, the Conservation Commission, and the Community Preservation Act Committee. Each of these experiences combined with advocacy at Town Council meetings gave her a deeper understanding of how the town functions, and how much community engagement is at the core of Amherst.

Ana believes that we need a Town Council that does the work to engage their community, councilors who reach out to their constituents where they are, not relying on them to navigate the many obstacles to participation, and amplify the voices of of our town.

Want to meet in person? Ana has "office hours" on Fridays from 4:30-6:00pm on the South Amherst Common. Be sure to check our facebook page in case of cancellation. Can't wait to meet you!
